Joys of Pet Ownership

Joe and I got to experience a different joy of pet ownership for the first time this weekend.  We discovered fleas on Couver Friday morning and then on Bella later in the afternoon.  So we got give everyone a bath last night.  Yes, you've got that right, we gave Bella a bath.  Giving Bella a bath required Joe to suit up in a sweatshirt, fleece, and leather gloves.  We were hoping to just give her a sponge bath but that didn't work so while I was dumping water on Bella I was dumping water on Joe. :-) Then of course we had to vacuum everything and wash all of our bedding.  Joe had a fun time at the laundry mat.  

So no big deal but I think the reason this is the first time is because it is too frickin' hot and dry out in Colorado for fleas to survive.  Yea Michigan!

My sister-in-law is a great photographer so she took some pictures of me a couple of weeks ago. I put some of them up on my facebook but then I realized I should post them here too.  

First nesting session

Joe and I purchased Baby V's crib, dress and additional plastic bin organizer for his room just in case he decides to be an early bird.  Luckily my mom had already purchased some of his bedding so we had fresh bedding to put on his new crib.  We assembled the crib and organizer last night and then the dresser today.  I also put away some of the gifts Baby V has already received on an extra bookshelf we had.
